In September 2010, I attended a SCPX retreat in Kansas City, MO. I had no idea what to expect, so going in I had no grid for what I was going to learn. Though it was only a 3 day long retreat, by the end of it God had completely rocked my world. The training we received was simple, easy to learn, and best of all experiential. We didn't just get a bunch of head knowledge and wonder what we were going do with it, we actually got to go out and practice what we had just learned! I left that retreat with a renewed vision of how I could win my campus for Jesus.

I was also part of a two month long SCPX Summer Internship in Kansas City MO in 2011 that changed my life. Myself along with 5 other interns moved into a 4 bedroom house on a street corner notoriously known as being one of the most dangerous places in Kansas City. The stories of God's faithfulness in that house are too numerous to count. We experienced the Father's love daily through fellowship, studies in the bible, and simply going out and talking with people. We saw the Lord heal people physically & emotionally, baptize people in His spirit, convict people to give their lives to Him simply from us talking about what we were doing in KC, deliver people from demonic strongholds, the list goes on. The best thing about that house though was the loving, family atmosphere we experienced on a daily basis. I learned so much over that summer that I will never be the same. My experience with SCPx was truly life-shaping and definitely brought me into a deeper understanding of God's purpose and plan for my life.

I'm so thankful that God brought me into the SCPx family and I can't wait to see what else He has in store for our generation!!
